Nathaniel Storm is an unlikely love story set in contemporary rural South Gippsland; where a young Koorie rainmaker – Nathaniel – is confronted by a drought he cannot break and a real estate developer who is determined to build a new hospital on land considered sacred by the local indigenous community.
Produced by NIDA in 1997 it featured Leonie Page, Ursula Yovich, Merv Graham and Rodney Dobson. The production was directed by Adam Cooke with set design by Peter Cooke and musical direction by Ian McDonald. It was presented in the NIDA theatre as part of the 2007 Festival of the Dreaming.
